Colorado law solidifies right to abortion

Posted

After the longest debate in Colorado house history, a bill to solidify the right to abortion in the state of Colorado is being signed into law. The new law seeks to protect abortion rights in the event that the U.S. Supreme Court overturns the landmark 1973 case of Roe v. Wade, which secured abortion rights across the nation. Many states, like Colorado, have began to consider state level protections around abortion rights as the Supreme Court has the potential to transform abortion access for women across the country.
